We
meet at the Post-Graduate Medical Centre at St. Albans City Hospital
in Waverley Road. For a map visit Multimap.
Enter St Albans City Hospital by the Main Entrance in Waverley Rd.
The car parks are on right.
NB We have negotiated free parking for these meetings. Please go to kiosk and ask for a car sticker. If nobody there put a note on your windscreen saying you are at a meeting of the Diabetes Group
Enter the hospital building by the doors with the sign MAIN ENTRANCE. This is the 2nd building on left and NOT the Minor Injuries Dept but is the way to outpatients.
Keep right (not into the outpatient department) and continue straight through the double swing doors and then through more swing doors to the end.
Turn left (past the pharmacy and Pathology), round some bends and through the swing doors at the end.
Turn right and go through the swing doors to the lifts on the right.
Go up to Level 2 (or you can use the stairs that are opposite the lifts). Turn left when you get out of the lift and through the doors next to the lift.
Go to the end of the passage and the last door on the left is the PGC. The lecture room is the last door on the right in the PGC.
When you leave, use the same route (Level 1 for the exit). If the outer door is locked, push the switch at the side of the main door.
